When in Paris...
Since you have decided to visit the City of lights, let's talk about some must-haves you will have to put in your suitcase...
- BAG / BACKPACK
Every tourist usually brings a bag when abroad but it should not be big, at least of a reasonable size, in other words, not bulky.
The bigger your bag is, the more you're going to put unnecessary things in it.
We're pretty sure that you wouldn't like to have to empty your bag during security checks when accessing to a museum or other tourist attraction; it would be a waste of time.
- CAMERA
Well, everything is packed but did you remember to bring your camera along?
We all know that, nowadays, smartphones have almost replaced cameras.
Yet any photography lover knows that the best equipment is still the camera, considering the quality of resolution and other advantages it provides.
There is a quick example :

- EXTERNAL BATTERY CHARGER
We all know that feeling when your phone notifies you that your battery is low.
That's why we recommend you to take an external battery charger in case you need to recharge it quickly and when in an important moment such as while taking a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower.
- UMBRELLA
The weather in Paris is rather unpredictable: a sunny day followed by a rainy one can happen.
A smaller umbrella that you can easily put in your bag will do, especially if you're about to take a picture at Montmartre and it starts raining...
- COMFY SHOES
Tourists enjoy walking around Paris and we're quite sure you do too.
We even advise you to put on trainers since you're going to walk a lot through the city.
Walking is healthy for the body as well as for the mind.
- BOTTLE OF WATER & THERMOS
As usually, capital cities are expensive and Paris is no exception.
We're convinced that you're would want to spend your money on something else rather than water.
Hence the advantage of bringing a bottle of water or a thermos along so that you can refill it as much as you want and need.
You will surely find a place to do that during your stroll in the city.

We all know that feeling when you're thirsty, this is why we insist on that point.
- DOCUMENTATION
Always carry with you an identity document.
Paris is a lively city and identity checks are intensified.
- CREDIT CARD
In Paris, you can almost pay for everything by bankcard.
It goes without saying that carrying some cash is recommended.
Know that entry tickets for museums are payable by credit card.
We believe that this useful advice will help you enjoy your visit to the City of lights.
Would you add something?
Please, feel free to write it in the commentary section below :)
